BTS’s military service exemption is being reviewed?… HYBE, “Transition committee’s visit? We’ll let you know after confirming it”

President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol is expected to visit Hybe, where BTS belongs to.

An HYBE official said on the 1st to Xports News about the rumors of a visit to the headquarters of the Transition Committee, “I will tell you when it is confirmed.” 

According to the Transition Committee, Reception Committee Chairman Ahn Cheol Soo and the Committee’s Cultural Welfare Subcommittee members will visit HYBE headquarters in Yongsan District, Seoul on April 2 to discuss a number of issues.

Many people have raised speculations about BTS members being considered to be exempted from military service since it is known that theTransition Committee is discussing ways to foster the Korean entertainment industry.

Earlier, the Transition Committee said on the 31st of last month that they were considering transforming the Blue House into a cultural space where K-pop and traditional music performances are held and opening it to the public.

Meanwhile, BTS will attend the 64th Grammy Awards in Last Vegas on March 3rd (local time). After that, the group will continue to carry out their concert shows “BTS PERMISION TO DANCE ON STAGE – Las Vegas” at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on the 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th of this month.
