BTS, TWICE Nayeon, and other artists to heat up Kpop this summer with June releases

June 2022 will be a hectic month with the comebacks of various famous Kpop artists, including BTS, TWICE Nayeon, and former IZ*ONE member Jo Yuri. 

After the disbandment of project girl group IZ*ONE, female Kpop idol Jo Yuri has been gaining noticeable success from her solo promotions, with her ep “Glassy” being a favorite on online music platforms. On June 2nd 2022, the formal main vocalist of IZ*ONE will release her first mini-album “Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Major”, which includes the title track “Love Shhh!”, as well as B-sides “Round and Round”, “Rolla Skates”, “This Time”, and “Opening”. Among these, “Opening” was self-composed by the female idol.

BTS is expect to bring a powerful comeback ahead of their 9th year anniversary 

On June 10th, right ahead of their 9th year anniversary, the world-famous group BTS will return with their anthology album “Proof”, which will consist of BTS’s most iconic songs, alongside 3 brand new eps. The title for this album, “Yet to Come”, is produced by BTS members RM, Suga, and J-hope, as well as Big Hit producer Pdogg. 

According to Big Hit Music, “Proof” will capture the spirit of BTS’s past, present, and future. 

TWICE Nayeon
TWICE Nayeon will make her solo debut in June. 

TWICE Nayeon will also be making her solo debut on June 24th, with the mini-album “IM NAYEON”. With this release, the female idol will become the first member of TWICE to promote solo, after 7 years of group activities. This solo project will show a new side of Nayeon, said TWICE’s agency JYP. 

Other than Jo Yuri, BTS, and TWICE Nayeon, other Kpop artists, including TRENDZ, Omega X, Kim Jae Hwan, DRIPPIN, Secret Number, and woo!ah!, will also be promoting this June.
