In new concept photos for upcoming album “Proof”, the unique charm of BTS shined through.
On May 28th, Big Hit Music released the first concept photos of BTS’s new album “Proof” on their official SNS. The “proof” (compact) version consists of group as well as individual cuts.
In the new photos, BTS members wear all black in an overwhelming atmosphere. The photo sets boast BTS’s strong image of people who have proven their worth, having overcome various challenges, prejudice, and oppression.
The group photo, BTS poses in front of a large bullet proof gate, and is staring straight ahead with determined eyes. Metallic accessories and familiar fabric like leather and faux fur also adds to their boldness.
In addition, the bullet proof gate is full of bullet marks, representing the turbulent career of BTS. All 7 members were standing solidarily near cartridge cases – a symbol of their last 9 year together.
The new BTS anthology album “Proof” will be released on June 10th. It will cover BTS’s 9 years of history since debut and consist of 3 CDs.
BTS will release more versions of concept photos on May 29th and from May 31st to June 2nd.
