The group BTS expressed its feelings about meeting Korean fans for the first time in two and a half years.
BTS held “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-SEOUL” at the main stadium of Jamsil Stadium in Seoul at 7 p.m. today (March 10th) and met with Korean fans for the first time in about two and a half years.
BTS, who took the stage with colorful firecrackers, opened the concert with the title song “ON” of its fourth full album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,” which has not been sung live in front of the Korean audiences due to the pandemic. The members, who performed magnificent stages with large-scale dancers, heated up the atmosphere from the start by continuing with the “Fire” and “Dope” stages.
BTS said, “We finally met again at the main stadium. It’s been so long. I missed you so much.”
RM said, “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” started five months ago, but it feels different just because you are in the audience. When would we ever have a concert where we can only hear applause? It’s a concert that will become history.”
V said, “Last time, we filmed a concert with only cameras in an empty auditorium, now I’m touched and excited to have ARMY here,” and J-Hope said, “We prepared a lot of performances, so please don’t pay attention to anyone else and enjoy them.”
Jimin said, “I was worried because the weather was quite cold, but I’ll do my best not to make you cold,” and Suga added, “We can’t shout, but it’s important to be together again in two and a half years. The same goes for us as we feel excited and overwhelmed. Let’s enjoy it together.”
Meanwhile, BTS will continue “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL” at the main stadium of Jamsil Stadium in Seoul from March 12th to the 13th, starting with today’s concert.
