BTS Suga talked about his effort to have a meeting with broadcaster Yoo Jae Suk.
BTS members Suga and Jimin guested in the content video titled “Meeting younger brothers I’m comfortable with is Just an Excuse”, which was released on the Youtube channel “DdeunDdeun” on April 11th.
The two idols came to “Just an Excuse” because of their unexpected friendship with Jo Se Ho, who also joined the recording that day. Suga said, “I often met Seho hyung. I think I meet him like once or twice a month”, revealing his special friendship with Jo Se Ho.
Jo Se Ho also shared, “I met Yoongi (Suga’s real name) most of the time. I don’t often meet Jimin, but we are close enough to have meals and share talks together”. Explaining why he kept his friendship with BTS members a secret, he confessed, “It might be uncomfortable to openly talk about our relationship and stuff, so only kept it for myself, like a personal diary”.
Following this, Jo Se Ho revealed that Suga said he wanted to eat with Yoo Jae Suk once. In response, Yoo Jae Suk explained his relationship with Suga, saying “That’s right. Suga and I even talked on the phone”.
Suga then confessed how he made another 10 appointments with Yoo Jae Suk since they have a mutual acquaintance, but they haven’t met, even once. To this, Yoo Jae Suk happily replied, “So today, we met like this again.”
On the other hand, actor Lee Dong Wook, who previously appeared on the show, complained that Yoo Jae Suk said he’d buy him a meal 10 years ago, but they still haven’t eaten together yet. At that time, the production team added a caption, which agrees with the sentiment and said, “Using this show as an excuse, another long-standing promise has been stamped today.”
