BTS’s Jungkook has been selected as the 1st place for the “Sexiest K-pop Idol with Tattoos” in Japan.
BTS Jungkook ranked first in the survey conducted by the Japanese K-pop & Hallyu specialized web media ‘Danmee’ for the “Sexiest K-pop Idol with Tattoos.”
Following Jungkook in first place, NCT’s Yuta ranked 2nd, TWICE’s Chaeyoung ranked 3rd, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon ranked 4th, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon ranked 5th, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa ranked 6th.
In February, Jungkook explained the meaning behind the tattoos on his hands and arms during a solo live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse.
Jungkook stated, “ARMY is such a confident and proud existence. So, it’s impossible to hide it in unseen places.” He revealed that he tattooed ‘ARMY’ as the very first tattoo on his hand. He also expressed his deep love for ARMYs, saying, “Debut date 0613, purple heart, ARMY mark… all of them are related to all of you.”
Jungkook also mentioned, “I wanted to engrave the birth flower, the time I was born, the microphone, and the musical note to symbolize that I was destined to be a singer since birth.“
Meanwhile, Jungkook recently achieved the world record for the shortest period of time to reach 1 billion streams as a K-pop soloist on Spotify, earning the honor of being officially listed in the Guinness World Records.
