The training photos of BTS Jin (Kim Seok Jin), who joined the military, have been released.
On Jan 6th, several training center photos of BTS Jin, which were released on the same day, spread on online communities such as theqoo and FM Korea.
The first photo showed the back view of Jin, who was training in a military uniform. Another photo showed Jin washing his face with water after completing CBR (chemical, biological and radiological) training.
The CBR training, a training to prepare for CBR situations, provides not only gas practical training but also training on wearing protective clothing and situational measures, admiral and related chemicals.
Netizens left comments such as “PTSD is coming“, “He suffered a lot in the cold” and “He’s training properly.“
Jin entered the 5th Infantry Division’s recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do on Dec 13th. After 5 weeks of basic military training, Jin is scheduled to be deployed as an active-duty soldier in the army.
Jin’s agency Big Hit Music said on the fan community Weverse on Jan 5th, “The bootcamp is a space used by ordinary soldiers and a space for military training. If letters and gifts from fans are intensively delivered at once, it will be difficult to store them. There will also be a risk of the letters and gifts getting lost, so we would like fans to refrain from sending letters and gifts.“
They added, “If you would like to send a warm message to the artist, please leave a message using the hashtag ‘#Dear_Jin_from_ARMY’ on Weverse, and we will support so that Jin can check it out himself.“
