Brave Girls members to promote under a new group name BB Girls under Warner Music Korea

Brave Girls will head for a new start as BB Girls.

According to an E-Daily report on May 3rd, Brave Girls members recently signed an exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea and chose their new group name to be BB Girls.

Brave Girls is a girl group launched in 2011 by Brave Entertainment, headed by the hit song maker Brave Brothers. Currently, there are four members in the group, namely Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna. With their 2017 release song “Rollin’”, they gained resurrected popularity four years later in 2021.

Brave Girls have disbanded since their exclusive contracts with Brave Entertainment expired in February. However, the four former Brave Girls members have found a new home at Warner Music Korea. They also expressed their willingness to continue “complete” activities. The members announced the news separately through their personal SNS accounts, signaling a “summer comeback”.

Since Brave Entertainment owns the existing group name trademark, the current 4 members have to change the group’s name to conduct smooth activities. They reportedly chose BB Girls as the new group name because it can leave an impression on the public while building on the group’s already-established identity. The girl group will now promote under the name BB Girls.
