BOL4 Ahn Ji Young opened up about suffering from hateful comments.
On July 11th, BOL4 Ahn Ji Young appeared on the YouTube channel Uzusun Studio.
Ahn Ji Young said, “I really hate it” regarding the controversy over her pronunciation. When asked about the song she heard about her pronunciation issues, she mentioned BOL4’s “Travel.”
She joked, “Wasn’t the lyrics supposed to be ‘Let’s leave today’ instead of ‘I’m leaving today’? It was a very individualistic song.”
When asked if she had any questions for the public, she asked, “Is BOL4 famous?” Ahn Ji Young revealed, “I have a depression that comes from not being recognized for the achievements I’ve made.“
Ahn Ji Young revealed that her self-esteem has declined due to the comments directed at her. She sarcastically remarked, “The keyboard warriors are the problem.” When asked to “Say something,” Ahn Ji Young responded by insulting with her finger towards the camera.
Later, Ahn Ji Young took to the streets and participated in interviews with citizens. Two 21-year-old women listened to Ahn Ji Young’s concerns and deeply moved her by saying, “How could anyone not know BOL4?” “(Her pronunciation) is a charming point,” “You should look in the mirror and think, ‘I am BOL4.’“
On July 5th, Ahn Ji Young released a new song titled “Someday (Feat. Ha Hyun Sang).”
