It seems like BLACK PINK’s future activities in America is highly expected.
On the morning of Feb 2nd, the Headline Planet posted an article saying that BLACK PINK will perform at “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” (the talkshow with the highest rating in the U.S) on Feb 11th. On the same day, BLACK PINK’s official SNS accounts also confirmed this information.
BLACK PINK is the second K-Pop girlgroup to be invited to “The Late Show”. In 2012, Girls’ Generation performed “The Boys” (English version) on “The Late Show with David Letterman”.
Aside from that, BLACK PINK also has other appearance on the “Good Morning America” on Feb 12th, “Strahan & Sara” on Feb 15th and “Coachella” in April.
After the confirmation from BLACK PINK, YG’s stock price noticably went up (6,79%). This shows that their plan in America is highly-anticipated by many.
Recently, YG also confirmed that the 4 girls will collaborate with DJ Snake for a new music product. The detail will be revealed on Feb 8th.
