BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Heartfelt Message to Fans, Hints at Contract Renewal
BLACKPINK Jisoo wrote a lengthy post to the fans on the occasion of BLACKPINK’s 7th debut anniversary.
At midnight KST on August 8th, BLACKPINK members shared various group photos to celebrate their 7th debut anniversary. In particular, Jisoo shared a long message to BLINKs through the fan community Weverse and did a live broadcast to chat with fans on this special day.
Not only in her post but also during the live broadcast, Jisoo mentioned the upcoming 8th-anniversary on August 8, 2024. This led fans to believe that BLACKPINK has renewed their contract with YG, which is why Jisoo is looking forward to the anniversary a year from now. She also revealed there is a secret good news that fans can look forward to.
Jisoo’s letter to BLINKs reads:
“Congratulations on our 7th anniversary, our dear BLINKs. It’s been 7 years, really. From the beginning until now, so many things have happened. Every time like this, I want to look back and see how I can express my feelings, gratitude, and love for BLINKs. From last year to this year, because we are going on a tour, we get to meet BLINKs more often.
Thank you for believing, supporting, and loving us for such a long time. In that time, through the letters you sent, the short conversations, the fansign events, I’ve heard so many stories from BLINKs and thought: ‘It’s really happy that we understand each other and can support each other.’
Thank you so much. BLINKs have made me stronger over these 7 years. I will be strong in the future as well. Let’s stay together forever. Let’s give each other more strength.
