On October 1st (local time), Spotify announced BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” as the second most streamed album in the world over the past week (2022.9.23~2022.9.29). As a result, BLACKPINK has maintained their No.2 spot on the Weekly Top Album Global Chart for two consecutive weeks.
BLACKPINK performed well not only on album charts but also on digital music rankings. The title song “Shut Down” became the first K-pop song to chart 1st place in the first week of its release, followed by this week’s 7th place.
BLACKPINK will hold “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]” on the 15th and 16th of October at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park, Seoul.
