BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK becomes 1st girl group tour to gross 200 million USD in history

“BORN PINK”, BLACKPINK’s latest world tour, has already made history with the earnings of 22 out of 28 nights.  

According to ticket count platform Touring Data, BLACKPINK earned over 18 million USD with 2 BORN PINK concerts in National Stadium, Singapore and over 15 million USD with 2 shows in Rajamangala Stadium, with 100% of 97,977 and 81,108 tickets sold for each stop.

This means that with 48 out of a total of 64 shows, BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK becomes the 1st girl group tour to gross over 200 million USD in history.

In particular, BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” world tour has earned a total of 220,514,965 USD, with a total of 1,258,048 tickets sold. The average revenue for one show is 4,594,062 USD, whilst the average price for one ticket is 175.28 USD. 

At the same time, BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” is the first tour by a female act to exceed 100 million USD earned in the history of Asia, with 124.4 million USD through 22 out of 28 shows. 

With their concert in National Stadium, Singapore, which is part of the “BORN PINK” tour, BLACKPINK also earned their highest-grossing Asian concert of all-time with 9.226 million USD. 

The girl group is also the highest-grossing act in the history of Thailand, having earned 36.3 million USD and sold 205,000 tickets for 10 shows since 2019. They are the first ever Kpop artist to sold out a concert at Rajamangala Stadium.

Furthermore, BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” is the highest-grossing tour for a female act that debuted in the 2010s, surpassing Ariana Grande’s “Sweetener” tour, which earned 145 million USD with 97 shows. 

With 16 shows left to be reported, “BORN PINK” Tour has also become the highest-grossing world tour in history for a Kpop artist.
