LE SSERAFIM & NewJeans enter Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Asia 2023” list

Forbes previously announced the “30 Under 30 Asia 2023” list in May, including young talents from 20 countries across 10 categories, with India having the highest number of selections at 75 individuals (teams). Korea had 26 representatives.

Notably, Korea showcased remarkable achievements in the fields of sports and entertainment. K-pop stars NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM and actresses Jung Ji-so, Lee Yoo-mi and Kim Hye-yoon stood out. Forbes commented on NewJeans “NewJeans is on track to become another K-pop sensation” and mentioned that NewJeans members, such as Hanni (Gucci), Hyein (Louis Vuitton) and Danielle (Burberry), were selected as global fashion brand ambassadors.

For LE SSERAFIM, Forbes mentioned them as “now one of the most popular K-pop girl groups” and commended them for bravely overcoming scandals. Regarding actress Jung Ji-so, Forbes referred to her roles in the movie “Parasite” (2019) and Netflix’s “The Glory” (2023), while Lee Yoo-mi was recognized for her performances in “Squid Game” (2021) and “All of Us Are Dead” (2022). Kim Hye-yoon gained attention for her roles in JTBC’s drama “Sky Castle” (2019) and “The Girl on a Bulldozer” (2022).
