Rosé, a member of BLACKPINK, expresses her admiration for Beyoncé as well as a wish to collaborate in the future.
BLACKPINK Rosé recently appeared on the December 2022 issue of Vogue Hong Kong as the cover girl. In the accompanying interview, the female idol also discussed a lot of interesting anecdotes, insights, and ambitions.
In particular, one question from Vogue Hong Kong was, “BLACKPINK collaborated with so many superstars like Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, and Cardi B. Is there any artist that you dream to collaborate with?”
Regarding this question, Rosé answered, “I think this kind of collaboration can always create excellent synergy. Regardless of music or other aspects, they are all opportunities for me to learn many things. Actually, the artist that I admire the most is Beyoncé since I was a child and dreamt to be a singer. Before I really became a singer, I watched Beyoncé’s films and began to think: ‘I want to be like this’, so I practiced piano very hard. Fortunately, I was able to attend an event together with Beyoncé as we are Tiffany’s ambassadors. It’s a huge honor!. ‘I hope we will have an interesting collaboration together in the future’, she said at the event. And this is really a ‘dream collaboration’ for me! I really want to sing with her if there is a chance!”.
Rosé and Beyoncé are both ambassadors for the luxury jewelry brand Tiffany&Co.
Currently, Rosé, alongside her group BLACKPINK, has completed the North American leg of their world tour Born Pink, and has headed to Europe.
