BLACKPINK Jisoo’s Boyfriend Ahn Bo Hyun’s Relationship Views: “Love is Possible Even When Busy”
Ahn Bo Hyun, who has been confirmed to be dating BLACKPINK Jisoo, is garnering attention for his views on love.
In the past, through a relationship advice content, Ahn Bo Hyun honestly revealed his views on love, showing his affectionate side and capturing fans’ attention.
In July 2021, Ahn Bo Hyun appeared on the YouTube channel of fashion magazine ELLE Korea and presented the content ‘Ahn Bo Hyun’s Relationship Counseling Room.’
In the video, he listened to young fans’ relationship concerns and shared his opinions.
The first question was about long-distance relationships between Korea and abroad, given the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Ahn Bo Hyun responded, “It’s a bit ambiguous,” and after some thought, he said, “But if there is love, I think it’s possible to overcome (the distance). Fortunately, many people are getting vaccinated, so I believe long-distance relationships between Korea and abroad are definitely feasible. There’s no way to overcome love itself.”
When asked about balancing work and love, he shrugged his shoulders.
Ahn Bo Hyun said, “Even if you’re busy with work, you can still love.” He added, “Even soldiers find time to date during their breaks.” He continued, “Personally, I love my work now, but someday, while working hard, I think I’ll also meet a really great person. I pursue casual and confident relationships without trying too hard.“
He advised, “Don’t force dates, don’t rush, but seek natural encounters.“
One fan asked Ahn Bo Hyun, “Does your perspective on potential partners change when you reach your 30s?“
Ahn Bo Hyun said, “It does change”, adding “I watched the drama ‘Hur Jun’ when I was young and the character ‘Lady Ye Jin’ is my ideal type. After watching ‘Do It Your Way’, actress Lee Na Young became my ideal type. Now, I like someone with whom I share many common things, someone who can laugh with me despite my lacking sides, someone with whom I can communicate and understand well.”
When a fan asked about the most important thing he considers when looking at someone of the opposite gender, the actor said, “First, I think it is best to form a sense of empathy between us. It’s important to know what that person likes or dislikes”.
He continued, “This may be a different topic, but I wasn’t used to receiving compliments. Things like ‘thank you’ and ‘you did a good job’ were not familiar to me, and I rarely said them. However, as I started expressing these emotions to other people, whether they were of the opposite gender or the same gender, I noticed that they began to look at me differently, and I also developed a more positive mindset”, adding “I tend to have good feelings for people of the opposite gender when they show such consideration for me.”
