BLACKPINK Jennie to make her first solo variety show appearance and meet pet trainer Kang Hyung Wook

BLACKPINK member Jennie will challenge her first solo entertainment appearance on “Kang Hyung Wook’s Bodeum TV”.

According to an official in the entertainment industry on May 22nd, Jennie recently filmed content for the Youtube channel “Kang Hyung Wook’s Bodeum TV”. It is said that the female idol met pet trainer Kang Hyung Wook with her dog and shared about her life as a pet owner.

“Kang Hyung Wook’s Bodeum TV” is a Youtube channel with 1.65 million subscribers run by dog trainer Kang Hyung Wook, who is highly praised to the extent that he is called “Dog President”. The channel provides various contents such as, “Dog Breed Encyclopedia”, which introduces different dog breeds, and “Kang Hyung-wook’s Dog Guest Show”, in which celebrities appear with their own dogs. 

In the meantime, Jennie will guest on “Dog Guest Show” with her own pet dog. In May 2020, the BLACKPINK member already conducted a fashion magazine photoshoot together with her dog Kuma. In the interview video released on the magazine’s Youtube channel, Jennie drew keen attention as she was seen holding Kuma in her arms tightly and showing affection for it.

In addition, Jennie will challenge her first appearance on a variety show as a solo guest since her debut. In this regard, “Bodeum TV” director Kwon Min Young said, “Jennie appeared with her pet Kuma and revealed various charms”, raising fans’ expectations for Jennie’s performance on her first solo entertainment program.

“Dog Guest Show” of “Bodeum TV” starring BLACKPINK Jennie will be released at 7 p.m. on May 26th.
