BLACKPINK unveiled their emotions after performing at Coachella 2023.
On June 16, BLACKPINK dropped the behind clip of the YG girl group’s first performance night at Coachella 2023. After finishing the “BORN PINK” concert in Paris, Paul Tollett, co-founder of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, brought good news to the YG girls.
In the “‘B.P.M’ Roll #23” Paul Tollett came directly to meet BLACKPINK to deliver the news. After receiving the announcement, Jennie was in total shock and could not utter a word. On the other hand, Jisoo and Rosé struggled to hold their laughter after seeing Jennie’s reactions. Moreover, Paul also reserved the highest praise for the BLACKPINK girls, saying, “You’re just bigger and better than anyone”.
After wrapping up their 2-hour performance at Coachella, BLACKPINK cried tears of joy. Jennie was exhausted and fell into Jisoo’s embrace after pouring all her energy into the Coachella stages.
In a conversation with Jisoo, Lisa revealed “Pretty Savage” to be the stage she found most stressful. She said, “In the first song, I got too tensed… So it felt uncomfortable here [pointing at her abdominal area] during ‘Pretty Savage’”.
