BLACKPINK confirmed as the headliner for the British music festival Hyde Park

BLACKPINK will appear on the stage of ‘Hyde Park British Summertime Festival (Hyde Park)’, the largest music festival in the U.K.

Hyde Park announced its 2023 lineup on October 21st (local time), saying BLACKPINK will perform as the festival’s headliner on July 2nd”, adding “In celebration of the festival’s 10th anniversary, we put more effort in recruiting amazing artists. BLACKPINK, who have established themselves as world-class stars, will brighten up the world’s largest outdoor concert with BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s fandom)”.

After becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at the U.S Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2019, BLACKPINK will continue to be the first Korean artist to appear on the Main Stage of next year’s Hyde Park. The girl group will present at this event together with other headliners Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and P!NK in 2023.

Hyde Park is a festival enjoyed by global pop stars regardless of genres, such as rock, hip-hop, electronic, R&B, etc., and about 65,000 music fans. Since 2013, the festival has been held every summer in London’s Hyde Park, which is known as “The backyard of British royal family”. In addition to music, the festival has become a place where people exchange trends in various cultures, such as fashion and lifestyle.

Advance ticket reservations for the 2023 Hyde Park Festival can now be made through various channels, such as AMEX, AEG, etc. and general reservations will be available from 6 p.m on October 27th (Korea Standard Time).
