Monika and Lip J showed off their chemistry as friends who have been living together for 5 years.
The broadcast of MBC’s “Omniscient Interfering View” aired on November 6th talked about daily life stories of 2 dancers Monika and Lip J.
The footage of Monika was shown first, and she appeared in a strawberry pajama. She drank tea while listening to yoga music. Regarding the beautiful handwritten words on the wall, Monika explained, “My father is a calligrapher. He wrote them for me to say that I should endure things and live my life.”
Next, Monika’s manager and PROWDMON dancer – Lip J appeared. Lip J greeted, “I’m Sooni and I’m going to be PROWDMON Monika’s manager today”. It is said that the two have been living together for 5 years. Lip J then said, “Since our team’s practice normally lasted until early in the morning so I often went to stay at Monika unnie’s house like my dorm. After keeping that routine for a long time, she told me, ‘What a waste of money so. Let’s just live together.”
Lip J also revealed her the reason for her appearance on the show, saying, “On broadcasts, Monika only shows her one side as a dance teacher with strong characteristics and a straightforward way of speaking, which sometimes this makes her look a little aggressive. In fact, she’s a completely different girl in real life who is quite soft-hearted. She’s also a crybaby. I hope people will get to know a different side of teacher Monika.”
In addition, the two dancers also talked about their first impressions of each other. Monika said, “I first met her at a noodle restaurant. The dancer who was with me introduced her as Kim Lip J, and I greeted her, ‘Hello’ with a bright expression. However, Lip J then opened her eyes while eating her noodles and said ‘Hi’.” Monika made everyone burst into laughter by adding, “At that time, Lip J’s hairstyle was the ‘Moon Hee-joon’s red hair’. Moreover, since she wanted to show off her ‘hip’ vibe, so she put on such colorful makeup. It was not pretty at all, so I thought this myself, ‘This is so cheap’”
In response, Lip J said, “I was eating alone, so I didn’t open my eyes widely. When Monika came in, I felt a strange aura that was different from other dancers. While pretending to be extremely friendly, she spoke as if she was a girl who is learning something.”
After breakfast, the two were on their way to the station in a small car which was handed down by Monika’s mother. Monika then nagged at Lip J, who was behind the wheel, so Lip J confessed, “I got my driving license 1 year ago and have been driving on my own for about 3 months”. They came to the broadcasting station to attend MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope Radio” and raised the viewers’ expectations.
