Baby Suphannee Noinuanthong, who was crowned Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026 in Thailand, has been stripped of her title just one day after her victory. The decision followed revelations that she had previously posed for and filmed explicit content, sparking heated debate across Thai beauty pageant communities.
On September 23, Suphannee appeared on a Thai television program alongside the provincial director of Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan, Mr. Kanchi, to appeal for a chance to retain her crown. Kanchi expressed his intent to consult with Mr. Nawat, president of Miss Grand Thailand, about reconsidering the ruling. Nawat responded: “If Kanchi wants to give Suphannee a chance to keep her title, I will try to discuss and reconsider. Ultimately, it depends on Kanchi’s decision.”
During the broadcast, a lawyer clarified the legal implications of Suphannee’s past actions, asking whether she was aware of the contract clause prohibiting such material. Suphannee admitted she had never read the contract. The lawyer further revealed that her actions could carry a prison sentence of up to three years, leaving Suphannee visibly shocked. “I don’t want to go to jail,” she said.
On September 22, organizers officially revoked her title after confirming her involvement in nude photo shoots and videos. Suphannee admitted she had posed nude in the past to support her family financially and pay for her late mother’s medical treatment. She acknowledged her mistake but pleaded for understanding: “I hope for compassion and a chance to prove my potential and determination.”
Nawat stated he did not wish to punish Suphannee but rather give her an opportunity to make amends. Nonetheless, many viewers remain outraged, insisting the crown should be taken away permanently. Critical comments flooded social media: “Yes, everyone makes mistakes, but some are unforgivable,” and “A beauty queen with nude photos and an OnlyFans account cannot be accepted.”
Suphannee, 27, was crowned Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan on September 20, becoming the provincial representative for Miss Grand Thailand 2026. There, she would have competed against contestants from 76 provinces across the country.
