Appeal trial for Chuu’s exclusive contract lawsuit will be held in December.
According to a legal official on October 28th, the 7th Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul High Court is scheduled to hold its first pleading date on Dec. 8 for Chuu’s case.
Earlier, the 12th Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul Northern District Court ruled in favor of Chuu in a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative (her agency) on August 17 to suspend her exclusive contract with the company. Blockberry then filed an appeal against the results of the first trial through a legal representative.
Since her debut in the music industry as a member of LOONA in December 2017, Chuu has been a popular member of LOONA, standing out in entertainment and advertising fields, but she was at odds with Blockberry over profit settlement and filed a lawsuit in December 2021.
