allday project youngseo mistreatment controversy

A heated online debate has erupted after alleged “proof” surfaced claiming that members of ALLDAY PROJECT mistreated fellow member Youngseo. The controversy follows accusations that THE BLACK LABEL, the group’s agency, had excluded her in their recent promotions.

The issue first gained traction when the group released the track list for their upcoming mini album, ALLDAY PROJECT. Each track title initially appeared to correspond to a member: A for Annie, T for Tarzzan, B for Bailey, W for Woochan, and Y for Youngseo. However, sharp-eyed netizens quickly noticed that the only member without a solo or sub-unit track was Youngseo.

This discrepancy immediately raised concerns, but the situation escalated when “evidence” of alleged member mistreatment began circulating online.

Before joining ALLDAY PROJECT, Youngseo was originally introduced as a debut member of ILLIT, but she departed before the group officially launched.

Her transition from ILLIT whose image is distinctly different from ALLDAY PROJECT had already been a point of discussion among fans. The current controversy intensified when a clip from a broadcast resurfaced on X, where Annie and the other members appeared to comment on Youngseo’s fashion choices and behavior. The clip was framed by some users as members “making fun” of Youngseo.

Additional posts highlighted moments in which the other four members were seen together without Youngseo, offering this as further “evidence” of exclusion.

However, fans of the group have strongly pushed back against the allegations. They clarified that the clip of Annie mentioning Youngseo wearing pink was filmed during a segment where the members were instructed to playfully “diss” each other. In that context, the remarks were not malicious but part of the program’s concept.

Supporters also emphasized that Youngseo voluntarily chose to debut with ALLDAY PROJECT, noting that viewers should not judge the group’s relationships solely based on selectively clipped videos or surface-level interactions.

As the discussion continues to divide public opinion, fans urge caution against jumping to conclusions, especially with the group preparing for their official comeback.
