All tickets are sold out for Kim Seon Ho’s musical “Touching the Void”, marking his first public schedule in 9 months

Actor Kim Seon Ho is resuming his activities as a musical actor 9 months after being embroiled in a controversy over his personal life. This will be his first public schedule since the scandal broke out. Fans are showing great support as Kim Seon Ho goes back to his roots, the theatrical stage where he began acting. All tickets for his upcoming play, “Touching the Void”, have been sold out.
Starring Kim Seon Ho, “Touching the Void” is a play based on the true story of British mountaineers Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, who climbed the West End of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes, which had not been climbed by anyone, in 1985. It contains the huge snow mountain with a blizzard, the fear of being trapped in the harsh nature, and the fighting spirit of survival.
Kim Seon Ho, along with Shin Sung Min and Lee Hwi Jong, will take on the role of Joe, who is isolated on a snowy mountain due to a distress accident, and perform his first stage at 7 pm KST on July 9th.
Currently, the second round of tickets for “Touching the Void”, is open for reservation until August 15th. Of these, all seats for Kim Seon Ho’s appearance were sold out. Among the three actors who play Joe, Kim Seon Ho is the only one who sold out all the tickets.
Kim Seon Ho, who gained great popularity thanks to his role in tvN’s drama “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” and KBS’s variety show “2 Days & 1 Night”, got embroiled in allegations of pressuring his ex-girlfriend A to have an abortion in October 2021. He later apologized for his “inconsiderate behavior” and dropped out of “2 Days & 1 Night”. He also withdrew from 2 movies, “Dog Days” and “2 O’Clock”, and only stayed in the cast of “Sad Tropics”.
