After dissing BTS, rapper B-Free continued to get criticized for attacking many other celebrities, including Yoo Jae-suk and Kang Ho-dong

Rapper B-Free (Choi Sung-ho, 36 years old) is facing backlash from netizens for his disrespectful song lyrics.

However, B-Free’s new album faced tremendous criticism shortly after its release. This is because he directly mentioned the real names of several celebrities and wrote disrespectful lyrics about them. The rapper dissed not only famous stars, such as BTS, BTS’s agency CEO Bang Si-hyuk, broadcasters Yoo Jae-seok, Ji Sang-ryul, Park Na-rae, Kang Ho-dong, Kim Gu-ra, but also politicians, including President Moon Jae-in, Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, and former President Lee Myung-bak.

In particular, he showed disrespect towards BTS, who spoke at the UN General Assembly twice in 2018 and 2020, by using the phrase “Gays become famous and even give speeches at the UN”, in his new song “The future”.

Earlier, B-Free appeared on the public broadcast “Kim Bong-hyun’s Hip-hop Invitation” hosted by music critic Kim Bong-hyun in 2013 and caused controversy after making agressive remarks towards BTS RM and Suga. At that time, he said, “Idols are not true rappers”, “What you are doing is not hip-hop, it’s just a rap”, “They are weak guys who were into temptation and failed to overcome the difficulties of reality”.

It was until 6 years later (2019) that B-Free officially apologized, saying, “I’m sorry for all the emotional pains that I have caused. Please forgive me”. Nevertheless, this controversy is expected to be raised again as the rapper released new songs containing lyrics dissing BTS again after 2 years.

Below are some of the lyrics from B-Free’s new full album “FREE THE BEAST 2”.
