After disbanding, what have X1 members been up to?

In 2021, the members have been working in the entertainment industry with their own plans and projects.

X1

X1 is an 11-member boy group from Mnet’s survival show “Produce X 101“. The group officially debuted on July 19, 2019 under the management of Swing Entertainment, with a lineup of 11 members including: Kim Yohan, Cha Junho, Cho Seungyoun, Kim Wooseok, Han Seungwoo, Lee Hangyul, Son Dongpyo, Kang Minhee, Lee Eunsang, Song Hyeongjun, Nam Dohyun.

After releasing the first mini-album “Emergency: Quantum Leap”, the scandal related to voting cheating in “Produce X 101” caused X1 to go on hiatus on January 6, 2020 and then officially disband. Since then, the members have been working in the entertainment industry with their own plans and projects.

Kim Yohan

Kim Yohan

Yohan was a trainee under OUI Entertainment before participating in “Produce X 101.” After X1 disbanded, the male idol returned to his company as a trainee and released his first solo single on August 25, 2020.

After that, Yohan debuted in the rookie boy group WEi on October 5 with the mini-album “Identity : First Sight”. He is in charge of being the center, lead rapper and subvocal. Yohan has recently released his first solo mini-album “Illusion” on January 10.

Cha Junho

Cha Junho

Junho used to be a trainee of Woollim Entertainment before participating in “Produce X 101.” After X1 disbanded, Junho participated in a single of Woolim’s artists and officially debuted with the group DRIPPIN on October 28 with the mini album “Boyager“.

DRIPPIN is about to make a comeback with the 2nd mini-album “Villain” with a new image.

Cho Seungyoun

Cho Seungyoun

Considered an “all-rounder” with the stage name WOODZ, Seungyoun was famous as a K-pop idol even before joining Produce X 101 and has been a member of UNIQ since 2014.

After X1 disbanded, Seungyoun continued to be active by releasing the solo album “Equal” (June 29, 2020), 2 EPs “Woops!” (2020) and “Only Lovers Left” (2021), single album “Set” (2021).

Kim Wooseok

Kim Wooseok

Wooseok was a member of UP10TION before participating in Produce X 101. After X1 disbanded, Wooseok returned to his group and started his own solo career.

The male idol has released his first solo album “1st Desire [Greed]” (May 25, 2020) and his second album “2nd Desire [Tasty]” (February 2, 2021).

Han Seungwoo

Seungwoo debuted with VICTON in 2016 before becoming a “Produce X 101” contestant. After X1 disbanded, Seungwoo returned to his members and released 2 solo albums, “Fame” (October 8, 2020) and “Fade“. (2021).

On July 28 of last year, Seungwoo enlisted in the army.

Lee Hangyul

Hangyul debuted as a member of group IM in 2017 before joining Produce X 101. The group is said to have disbanded in 2019.

After X1 disbanded, Hangyul and Dohyun (former X1 member) formed the unit H&D and debuted on April 21, 2020. They released several albums and singles before disbanding on September 23, 2020. After that, the 2 members debuted in the new boy group under Pocket Doll Studio with the name BAE173 on November 19, 2020.

Son Dongpyo

Son Dongpyo

Dongpyo used to be a trainee of DSP Media before joining Produce X 101. After X1 disbanded, the male idol returned as a trainee and officially debuted with MIRAE on February 4, 2021.

It is known that the group will release the new mini-album “Marvelous” on January 12.

Kang Minhee

Minhee was a trainee under Starship Entertainment before participating in Produce X 101. After X1 disbanded, Minhee officially debuted as a CRAVITY member on April 14, 2020, with the mini-album “Season 1. HIDEOUT: Remember Who We Are!“.

Lee Eunsang

Lee Eunsang

Eunsang used to be a trainee of Brand New Music before joining Produce X 101. After X1 disbanded, Eunsang returned as a trainee and officially debuted as a solo singer with the single album “Beautiful Scar” on May 31. August 2020.

In addition, Eunsang also participated in acting activities in “Idol: The Coup“. Recently, he was introduced as a new member of the upcoming group called BRANDNEWZ.

Song Hyeongjun

Song Hyeongjun

After X1 disbanded, Hyeongjun returned as a trainee of Starship and debuted in the group CRAVITY, alongside Minhee.

Nam Dohyun

Nam Dohyun

Dohyun is a trainee under Pocket Doll Studio. After X1 disbanded, Dohyun teamed up with Hangyul to form a unit but they failed. In 2020, he officially debuted in the new group BAE173 with Hangyul.
