Winter, a member of aespa, shared behind-the-scenes photos of Waterbomb with the hashtag “#waterbomb” on her Instagram on the 26th. aespa appeared in ‘Waterbomb Seoul 2023’ held at Jamsil Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Seoul on the 25th.
In the released photos, Winter is wearing denim shorts over a slightly revealing swimsuit. Her wet hair adds a touch of innocence and catches attention.
Next month, aespa is scheduled to continue their global tour at Thunder Dome in Bangkok, Thailand, for two days from the 29th to the 30th.
Meanwhile, from the 23rd to the 25th, the three-day ‘Waterbomb’ performance was held at Jamsil Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium. ‘Waterbomb’ is the largest music and water-themed festival in Korea, where people can enjoy various performances while getting splashed with refreshing water streams. Unlike last year, which took place in five cities, this year’s festival was held in nine cities, starting with Seoul and including Gwangju, Daejeon, and Daegu.
aespa took the stage on the last day of the event, the 25th. On that day, aespa heated up the audience with hit songs like ‘Next Level,’ ‘Thirsty,’ and ‘Illusion.’ Winter’s warm-heartedness was especially captured, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience. On that day, Winter asked Ningning, who has poor eyesight, if she was okay and even prepared goggles for her, showing her consideration for her fellow member.
Earlier, Ningning revealed in an interview with Vogue China in March that she had undergone surgery when she was young due to poor eyesight. She stated, “My right eye is almost blind because I had ‘amoebic keratitis’ when I was young.”
