Actress Yoon Jin-yi directly refuted the malicious rumors.

Yoon Jin-yi posted a long caption on her Instagram on the afternoon of April 22nd. She said, “I saw a video of a YouTuber making up a groundless story about me. There were a lot of ridiculous lies in that 4 minutes and 26 seconds long video,” expressing her absurdity.

“They cleverly edited the appearance on the TV screen of a famous reporter to create a malicious rumor video about me as if the contents were true. At first, it was so absurd that I tried to laugh it off without responding, but some of the people who watched the video believed it. Above all, I felt uncomfortable seeing precious people around me upset,” she said.

She went into detail, “I went on to major in theater and film to become an actor, which was my childhood dream. When I was a university student, I signed an exclusive contract with an agency that came to audition at my school, and I have been promoting as an actress for 10 years since my debut work. I did not do any jobs or work except for being a student and an actress. I’m an actress. I love my job, I’m grateful, and I enjoy it more than anyone else.”

Yoon Jin-yi said, “I’m happy to be able to act because of all of you who are cheering for me. I will try harder and become a sincere actress. Thank you for always cherishing and supporting me.”
