A star who joined the Marine Corps at the age of 30 surprised everyone with photos of him losing weight

Recent photos of P.O (Pyo Ji-hoon), a singer and actor who joined the Marine Corps at the age of 30, were recently released.

P.O.‘s agency, Artist Company, posted several recent photos of him on its official Instagram on Sep 29th and wrote in the caption, “Pyo Ji-hoon is the main character of this month’s special selfie day.” The agency said, “The actor is doing well and healthy!” on his behalf.

The selfies posted show P.O wearing a Marine Corps uniform with short hair. In the photos, P.O. revealed the weight he has lost on his face through his recent military service, drawing particular attention. P.O seemed to have lost a lot of weight, showing off his slimmer jawline and clearer features.

Born in 1993, P.O joined the Marine Corps in March this year and began his military service. He became the 1280th Marine after finishing his training camp and is scheduled to be discharged in September 2023.

P.O debuted as a member of the group Block B in 2011 before gaining recognition by working in various fields such as entertainment, drama, and theater. In particular, he has solidified his position as an entertainer by appearing in tvN’s entertainment shows “New Journey to the West” and “Great Escape” series. At the end of last year, he signed an exclusive contract with Artist Company, which was founded by actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung, to announce his new start as an actor.
