A male actor from “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” comes into criticism due to poor acting

The actor is regarded as a “minus point” in a current buzzworthy period drama.

“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” is a much talked-about period drama with good achievements thanks to the acting of the cast. While the four leading actors are putting on their best performances, Hyun Woo, who plays King Lee Chang, cannot bring as good a performance as the other actors.

In the drama, Hyun Woo is supposed to play a powerful and evil king Lee Chang. Nonetheless, the actor could not convey the demeanor and appearance of his character. His acting and juvenile image come across more humorous than scary to the viewers. In the scenes where Lee Chang attempted to show authority, the audience whimsically compared his image to a boy trying too hard to appear intimidating and unruly. The beard also made Hyun Woo’s overall face look funny.

–        King Lee Chang looks like a child with beard, who is obsessed with having a son and killing Lee Seol.

–        I want to shave Lee Chang’s beard.

–        Lee Chang looks like a young boy who is trying to appear dangerous, which is funny to look at.

Hyun Woo is a Korean actor born in 1985. He started acting in 2009 but has a lackluster career. Two of his most notable works, to date, are “Pasta” and “Living Among the Rich.” He formed a K-pop project group called “24/7” with two of his friends, Lee Jang Woo and No Min Woo. They released a single “Hours a Day 7 Days A Week” but disbanded soon after.
