MCs Noh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June Got Emotional as They Bid Farewell to ‘Inkigayo’ 

Noh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June’s tearful goodbye from ‘Inkigayo’ after a year as MCs moved fans and artists on the show.

On the April 2nd broadcast of SBS music program ‘Inkigayo,’ StayC’s “Teddy Bear,” NMIXX’s “Love Me Like This,” and NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” were announced as the top contenders for first place in the first week of April.

On this day, while NewJeans took 1st place, MCs Noh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June captured the audience’s attention with their tearful reactions since the announcement of the last first place before their departure. TXT’s Yeonjun couldn’t be present due to his world tour schedule.

Towards the end of the broadcast, Noh Jeong Eui expressed her emotions saying, “Thank you for being with me for a year. Meeting ‘Inkigayo’ helped me heal. It was the best decision of my life to be an ‘Inkigayo’ MC. If I am born again, I would like to meet you all as an ‘Inkigayo’ MC in the next life.”

She continued, “Thank you so much to our staff, producers, writers, and PDs. And thank you to the fans who have been coming every week for a year, even in the cold and hot weather.”

Seo Bum June also shed tears, saying, “Thank you to the ‘Inkigayo’ family who has been with us, and thank you to the Bum June team who has always taken care of me. I want to thank the viewers who have always loved us, and the fans who have always been with us, whether it’s cold or hot. We really love ‘Inkigayo.'”

As the audience saw the MCs’ emotional farewell, they sent encouraging applause to Noh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June. The singers who were on stage also gave a final salute with a hearty round of applause.
