The public is feeling sorry for the current situation of this former idol.
On February 3, Korean media outlets reported on the critical condition of a 1st generation male Kpop idol, Lee Tae Geun (former member of Akdong Club). Accordingly, an acquaintance of Lee Tae Geun revealed that he is dealing with a chronic illness. Although he has lived a happier life after his wife gave birth to twins, Lee Tae Geun is currently in the intensive care unit. This acquaintance has been asking for blood donations to save Lee Tae Geun.
Lee Tae Geun’s wife also opened up about the former idol’s health condition: “My husband is in critical condition in the intensive care unit. He has lost almost 20 kg. He is 1m78 tall, but he weighs less than 45 kg. He can’t eat anything and can barely breathe.”
“My husband is suffering from the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine. I feel like going through hell every day. I’m taking care of my two 26-month-old twins and my husband is sick” – Lee Tae Geun’s wife said. Lee Tae Geun reportedly received the 3rd dose of vaccine on December 16, 2021 and had symptoms of headache, vomiting and dizziness 3 hours later.
He went to the hospital for blood tests, X-rays and CT scans of his brain, the results showed that he had a sub meningeal hemorrhage. Normally, external trauma will cause subarachnoid hemorrhage, but Lee Tae Geun did not experience trauma, so doctors could not give specific treatment methods. Since then, Lee Tae Geun has lost his hearing, his headaches have become more intense, his body and his fingers have become stiff. The male idol had to take a lot of painkillers to ease his pain.
