JYP Entertainment has just released a solo cover video of Jinny, a member of the new girl group that JYP planned to debut in February 2022.
On August 20, JYP uploaded Jinny’s cover video “Mama Cover | QUALIFYING | Eom Taewoong Choreography” on their Youtube channel – “JYPn”.
Jinny showed off her stable vocal as she was singing live while dancing with strong movements. Not only Jinny’s dancing was perfect, her facial expressions were also excellent, having a “mature idol image” even before her debut. Therefore, this has raised the expectations of netizens for the new girl group.
JYP Artist Division 4, which was established for JYP’s new girl group in 2022, is planning to promote the group’s debut on their official ticketing site. Contents of the new group, including the formation of the group and information of the new members, will be released through this website.
On August 6, JYP revealed the first 3 members of the new girl group, Jinny, Ji Woo, and Gyu Jin, through a dance cover video uploaded on their channel – “JYPn”. Although the video was posted on a newly opened channel, it rapidly surpassed 1 million views on Youtube, drawing great attention.
JYP has scheduled to introduce their new girl group in February 2022, which is expected to be as successful as their previous girl groups such as Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, ITZY. The new girl group’s debut album, limited blind package, was sold on various websites in Korea and internationally for 10 days as part of the promotion.
