Actress Go Min-si talked about her teamwork with actor Jinyoung in “Sweet Home 2”

Go Min-si introduced Jinyoung as “the nicest actor I’ve ever met” in an interview with SPOTV News on December 12th.

Jinyoung and Go Min-si worked together in Netflix’s “Sweet Home Season 2” as baseball player Chanyoung who volunteers to join the Guard Corps after the monster apocalypse broke out and high school student Eun-yoo. Many viewers are looking forward to a romance between the two characters in the next season.

Regarding her co-star Jinyoung, Go Min-si said, “I was surprised when I heard Jinyoung was cast for the role Chan-young. I watched his previous film at the premiere so I was very excited knowing that he would join this work. After working together, I found out that he is very nice. I think he’s the nicest actor I’ve ever met”.

She continued, “He only says positive things. He always shouted, ‘Good things will happen’, on the set all the time and I even thought, ‘Didn’t he feel tired?’. Even when his eyes loosened, he still shouted, ‘Good things will happen’. I was so impressed”, praising Jinyoung’s personality.

Go Min-si then shared, “At the script reading, I already thought people would like the character Chanyoung, like ‘If this character appears, viewers will like him a lot’. Everyone applauded him when filming scenes with the eyeball monster and the running scene at the beginning of the drama”.

The actress added, “I think Chan-young was perfectly portrayed and shone brightly in the drama thanks to Jin-young’s acting. It was a perfect cast. I wanted Chanyoung and Eun-yoo’s chemistry to continue. We shared everything with each other on the set and talked comfortably”.

“Sweet Home 2” continues to depict the world where people with desires become monsters and follow the struggles that Hyun-soo (Song Kang) and Green Home survivors face after moving to a new place as well as the emergence of new beings and mysterious phenomena.
