On July 24, traditional Korean musician Shin Soo Ah shared photos with the caption, “With Corporal Lee Dong Min,” adding, “I have liked him since my first year of high school, and I really got to meet him by chance…”
She continued, “It was truly an honor and a wonderful experience to stand on the same stage together.”
Shin Soo Ah also expressed her gratitude, writing, “Thank you for taking photos with me and allowing me to take photos,” followed by the phrase “I became a successful fan!”
The released images showed Shin Soo Ah meeting ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo during a performance event, taking commemorative photos with him backstage and receiving his autograph.
In particular, Cha Eun Woo once again lived up to his nickname “face genius,” showing off his handsome visuals even with his short military haircut. His noticeably stronger physique, which appears to have developed through gaining muscle during his service, also caught fans’ attention.
Earlier this year, Cha Eun Woo became involved in controversy after reports emerged that he had received a tax assessment notice from the National Tax Service regarding alleged tax issues, with the amount initially reported to exceed 20 billion KRW.
Following the controversy, Cha Eun Woo reportedly paid the full 13 billion KRW in taxes requested by the tax authorities. The original amount was reported to be over 20 billion KRW, but part of the assessment was later recognized as duplicate taxation, resulting in a refund.
At the time, Cha Eun Woo stated, “I respect the procedures and results of the National Tax Service, and I have paid all related taxes to prevent any further confusion. I will continue to faithfully cooperate with the remaining procedures.”
He added, “If there were areas that I failed to examine carefully enough, I take full responsibility. I will not avoid responsibility by saying that I ‘did not know’ or that it was someone else’s decision.”
Cha Eun Woo also apologized, saying, “To ensure that the same issue does not happen again, I will review all aspects of my activities with more careful and strict standards. I will continue working hard to become someone who takes full responsibility for my choices and actions. Once again, I sincerely apologize.”
Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo is currently serving in the military band and is scheduled to complete his service and be discharged in January next year.
