What immediately caught fans’ attention, however, was Ningning’s reaction underneath the post.
Rather than avoiding the topic, the aespa member simply left a laughing emoji — “😂” — prompting explosive responses from fans online.
Earlier, the speculation began spreading across online communities after netizens noticed that Yasuda participated in the writing and composition of Giselle’s solo tracks “Tornado” and “Dopamine.” Both songs reportedly credit Giselle and Shintaro Yasuda as writers and composers, leading some fans to suspect that the two may have developed a close relationship while working together.
Rumors intensified after several online users claimed the pair appeared to share similar photos and social media updates. Some even alleged that they may have been dating for over a year, although no concrete evidence has surfaced.
The topic quickly gained traction on Korean community forum Instiz, where internet users shared mixed reactions to the speculation. While some believed there could be something more between the two, many others dismissed the claims as baseless.
Several commenters argued that the so-called “evidence” was weak, with one user writing, “The only thing similar is that slushie, right? Everyone posts cherry blossom photos every spring.” Another commented, “This isn’t a dating rumor. They’re probably just close friends.”
