On the morning of May 16, the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun released a new episode of the variety show “Pinggyego” titled “Going Out Is Just an Excuse.” Actors Koo Kyo Hwan, Jun Ji Hyun, and Ji Chang Wook, the stars of the film “Colony,” appeared as guests on the show.
During the conversation, host Yoo Jae Suk asked Jun Ji Hyun whether she usually eats breakfast. The actress replied, “I skip breakfast and try to eat lunch late, around 2 p.m. Since I’m hungry by then, I eat a large healthy meal for my first meal. For dinner, I eat early and just eat whatever I want.”
Jun Ji Hyun also revealed that she consistently works out every day. She explained, “I exercise daily, and I always do it in the morning. I don’t work out for too long, usually about an hour.” The actress added, “When I take personal training sessions, I work out for two hours — one hour with the trainer and another hour of individual exercise.” She also mentioned occasionally doing kickboxing, saying, “I do kickboxing sometimes too, but it’s so difficult that I only manage to finish the class itself.”

Jun Ji Hyun further explained that exercise has become an essential part of maintaining her stamina while filming projects. She shared, “If my call time is late, I always make sure to exercise first. My stamina improves, and it really helps me on set.”
Meanwhile, “Colony,” starring Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Ji Chang Wook, tells the story of isolated survivors trapped inside a quarantined building during a mysterious infectious outbreak as they struggle against infected beings evolving into unpredictable forms. The film is scheduled to premiere on May 21.
