On April 21, I.O.I’s agency Swing Entertainment announced that I.O.I will release their third mini album “I.O.I : LOOP”on May 19.
The group lineup includes:

- Kim Sohye
- Yoo Yeonjung
- Choi Yoojung
- Kim Doyeon
- Jeon Somi
Alongside the announcement, a pastel pink promotion scheduler was revealed, building anticipation among fans who have waited nearly a decade for this reunion.
According to the schedule, I.O.I will begin teasing content starting April 22, including:
- Mood film
- Concept photos
- Tracklist
- Album preview
- Music video teasers
- Audio snippets
Notably, the group will drop a pre-release track on May 4, accompanied by a YouTube live broadcast to connect with fans in real time.
The official comeback with the full album follows on May 19, marking the start of their promotional activities.
In addition to the album, I.O.I has already generated buzz with the announcement of their upcoming tour, “2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP.” A main concert poster is also expected to be unveiled during the promotion period, further amplifying excitement for their return.
I.O.I was originally formed in 2016 through Produce 101, becoming one of the most iconic project girl groups in K-pop history. Their hit songs like “Very Very Very” and “Downpour” quickly captured the public’s attention, helping them achieve massive popularity in a short time.
The group officially concluded activities in January 2017 after their final concert, making this 2026 reunion especially meaningful for longtime fans.
After years of individual careers and growth, “LOOP” is expected to showcase not only their signature charm but also a more mature and evolved sound.
