Gong Myung, born Kim Dong-hyun (김동현), is a South Korean actor and former singer. He first gained attention as a member of the actor group 5urprise and later established a successful acting career in television and film. He is known for roles in dramas such as Be Melodramatic and Lovers of the Red Sky, as well as the blockbuster film Extreme Job.

Gong Myung was born on May 26, 1994, in South Korea. His birth name is Kim Dong-hyun. He has a younger brother, Kim Dong-young (Doyoung), who is a member of the K-pop boy group NCT.
He developed an interest in acting at a young age and later entered professional training before making his entertainment debut.
Career
Debut and 5urprise Activities (2013–2016)
Gong Myung debuted in 2013 through the web series After School: Lucky or Not, alongside members of the actor group 5urprise, which was created by Fantagio as the first Korean group composed primarily of actors.
In 2016, he also appeared on the reality program We Got Married, which increased his popularity with the public.
Rising Popularity (2017–2020)
In 2017, Gong Myung expanded his acting career with leading and major supporting roles. He starred in the KBS drama special The Happy Loner and appeared in popular dramas such as:
