tvN’s weekend drama “Filing for Love” has officially wrapped up with a satisfying finale, delivering laughter, romance, emotional healing, and a thrilling dose of justice until the very end. The drama ended on May 31, closing the story of Joo In Ah and Noh Ki Joon as they overcame repeated crises and confirmed their trust and love for each other.

The final episode recorded strong ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, “Filing for Love” achieved an average rating of 10.3% and a peak of 11.3% among households in the metropolitan area. Nationwide, the finale recorded an average of 9.7% and a peak of 10.8%.
The drama also ranked No.1 in its time slot across cable and general programming channels. Among tvN’s target audience of viewers aged 20 to 49, the finale reached a peak rating of 3.6% in both the metropolitan and nationwide standards, also taking first place across all channels in the same time slot.

Beyond Korea, “Filing for Love” also received strong responses from international viewers. On Japan’s OTT platform U-NEXT, the drama ranked No.2 in the overall drama ranking and No.1 in the Korean and Asian drama ranking, marking the best performance among CJ ENM Korean dramas.
On the global OTT platform Rakuten Viki, the drama ranked No.1 for 3 consecutive weeks in 103 countries, including major regions across the Americas, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East. The drama’s success was strongly supported by its cast. Shin Hye Sun received praise for portraying Joo In Ah as a layered character with both strength and emotional wounds. Gong Myung convincingly portrayed Noh Ki Joon’s growth through love and work.

Their reversed-power romance became one of the biggest reasons viewers stayed immersed until the end. With its strong ratings, satisfying finale, and global popularity, “Filing for Love” proved its strength as one of tvN’s standout Korean dramas of the year.
