On December 12, a representative from tvN’s Amazing Saturday confirmed to Xports News, “Key will not participate in this week’s filming due to his scheduled overseas tour.” He also reportedly missed a recent studio shoot for MBC’s I Live Alone.
His absence drew heightened attention, particularly as Key is currently entangled in speculation surrounding the so-called “Injection Aunt” a woman referred to as “A,” who has been accused of providing illegal medical treatments to celebrities, including Park Na-rae. The controversy erupted after Park was alleged to have received unlicensed medical services from A.
While Park Na-rae’s side stated she had received a vitamin IV drip from a licensed medical professional and denied any illegal activity, later investigations based on records from the medical association revealed that A was not a licensed doctor in Korea.

As Key, like Park, is a regular cast member of both Amazing Saturday and I Live Alone, his alleged long-time friendship with A also came under scrutiny. A reportedly posted that she has known Key for 10 years and even uploaded a photo believed to be of his dog, fueling further speculation.
Other celebrities mentioned in connection with A, including Jung Jae-hyung and Onew, quickly distanced themselves and issued clarifications. However, Key has remained silent on the matter.
Currently, Key is on his fourth solo tour, “KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley,” performing across major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Oakland, Dallas-Fort Worth, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Seattle from December 3 to 15.

Given the timing, some speculated that his absence from TV was linked to the “Injection Aunt” issue, but reports confirm it is purely due to his tour schedule. There is also speculation that the delay in his response may be due to his overseas commitments.
Meanwhile, Key appeared on schedule for other shows such as web variety program Hal Myungsoo and the latest episode of I Live Alone, keeping his commitments as planned.
