On December 12, a woman identifying herself as “Jenny, a 26-year-old German” posted on social media with the message: “If anyone still thinks I’m AI, raise your hand. This is really the last time. If this is real, then the rest of the KakaoTalk messages must be real too, right? I’m embarrassed, but I had no choice.”

She shared a screen recording showing what she claimed to be direct messages (DMs) exchanged with Lee Yi-kyung, including her own selfie and the actor’s alleged replies. In the video, the woman reportedly initiated the conversation by messaging Lee in 2024, saying, “You’re my ideal type. Are you okay with foreigners?” To which he allegedly responded, “You speak Korean well. Which country are you in?”

As the conversation progressed, the woman addressed Lee as “oppa” and sent him a selfie with some revealing elements. According to the screenshots, Lee allegedly commented, “You don’t look German, you look Korean. But you covered it with flowers,” seemingly referencing parts of the image that were obscured.

More controversially, she shared what she claimed were messages where Lee asked questions about sexual culture and commented on her appearance, allegedly saying things like:
“It’s amazing how a conversation can go this far just from looking at breasts.”
“What’s your size?”
“E-cup? I’ve never seen that in real life.”
“Give me your KakaoTalk ID.”

However, the authenticity of the video and messages has not been independently verified.

Lee Yi-kyung has been under scrutiny since October, when the same woman posted accusations on online communities and social media. At the time, Lee’s agency strongly denied the claims and announced that legal action was being prepared in response to malicious rumors and defamation.

Lee himself also addressed the issue on his own social media, sharing a photo of the legal complaint and stating: “The reason I didn’t comment earlier was due to my agency’s request not to speak out until we completed legal procedures. A few days ago, I visited the Gangnam Police Station and completed a formal statement as the plaintiff. I’ve filed a complaint for defamation based on threats and false information.”
