At the press conference for tvN’s new weekend drama Pro Bono, held on December 2 and broadcast via Tving and Naver TV, director Kim Sung Yoon playfully brought up the topic of marriage between actor Jung Kyung Ho and his partner of 14 years, Choi Sooyoung.
The event introduced the drama’s cast, including Jung Kyung Ho (playing Kang David), So Joo Yeon, Lee Yoo Young, Yoon Na Moo, Seo Hye Won, and Kang Hyung Suk, alongside PD Kim Sung Yoon.

When asked to generate some buzz like his character in the series, Jung Kyung Ho modestly replied, “I really don’t have anything newsworthy.” At that moment, director Kim interjected with a cheeky remark, “Then at least tell us the wedding date,” referencing his long-standing relationship with Sooyoung.
The question took Jung Kyung Ho by surprise, and he quickly responded, “There’s no such thing,” flustered but smiling drawing laughter from everyone at the venue.

Pro Bono tells the story of an opportunistic judge who, through unforeseen circumstances, ends up working as a public interest lawyer in a major law firm’s struggling zero-revenue legal aid team. The drama features a star-studded cast and reunites screenwriter Moon Yoo Seok (Miss Hammurabi, The Devil Judge) with director Kim Sung Yoon (Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, The Sound of Magic).
The series is set to premiere on December 6 at 9:10 PM KST.
