On November 27, YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled, Lee Yi Kyung‘s Accuser… Claims of Fake German Identity? We Verified It.” The video featured audio of the accuser, identified only as “A,” speaking in both Korean and German.

“I’m Jenny, 26 years old by international age, and I’m German,” she stated. “I’ve been self-studying Korean for eight years now. I live in the Bavaria region, near Munich.”

Jenny added that the situation had been a significant life lesson. “This whole experience taught me not to judge people by appearances. It was meaningful to me,” she said, explaining that the scandal had opened her eyes to contradictions in people.

Addressing suspicions that she might be faking poor Korean to manipulate perception, Jenny responded, “I hear that a lot. I understand why people might think that.”

Previously, on November 26, Jenny appeared in another video claiming she had been in contact with Lee Yi Kyung since February of last year. “I messaged him after seeing him in a drama. I was surprised he responded,” she said. “At first, he didn’t believe I was German, so he asked questions about Germany and requested selfies, which I sent.”

She denied initiating the exchange of explicit photos and stated that her reason for coming forward was to prevent further harm. “We started with friendly chats, but over time, the conversations turned sexual. At first, I liked the attention from an actor, but it became uncomfortable especially after the kind of sexual remarks he made. That’s when I decided to reveal it,” she explained.

As for why she briefly claimed the materials were fabricated by AI, Jenny revealed she was persuaded by a Korean acquaintance. “A Korean oppa told me everything would die down in two weeks and that I wouldn’t face any backlash,” she said, admitting she reversed her position based on that advice.

Lee Yi-kyung rumor accuser statement

In response, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency has stated that they received anonymous tips about Jenny’s alleged intentions, including messages such as, “Should I demand 1 billion won from his agency?” and “I asked ChatGPT, and it said I wouldn’t be punished.” The agency continues to deny the allegations and is pursuing legal action, calling the accusations false.

This scandal marks the most significant controversy of Lee Yi Kyung’s career. Last month, Jenny posted blog entries containing screenshots of alleged sexually explicit conversations with someone using Lee Yi Kyung’s name, along with private photos.

While Lee Yi Kyung‘s side maintains the evidence is fabricated, Jenny has alternated between calling it AI-generated and then asserting its authenticity, further intensifying the public confusion and controversy.
