On October 21, Billboard confirmed that Jisoo’s “Eyes Closed” debuted at No. 72 on the Hot 100 chart for the week of October 25. The track also landed at No. 20 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 10 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, signaling her global impact as a solo artist.

Released on October 10, “Eyes Closed” features pop star ZAYN, formerly of One Direction, whose collaboration with Jisoo drew major attention for their vocal synergy and stunning visuals in the music video. The single saw massive success upon release, topping YouTube Music’s Worldwide Trending chart in 74 countries, reaching No. 21 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs, and hitting No. 1 on iTunes in 40 countries. In China, it led QQ Music and KuGou’s daily sales charts. Jisoo also achieved a record by surpassing 1 billion solo streams on Spotify in the shortest time ever for a K-pop soloist.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that all four BLACKPINK members have now charted on the Billboard Hot 100 as solo artists. Jennie with “One of the Girls” and “Mantra“, Rosé with “On the Ground” and “APT.“, Lisa with “LALISA” and “Born Again“, and now Jisoo with “Eyes Closed.” Their collective solo success solidifies BLACKPINK’s unique position in the global music scene.

Since debuting in 2016, BLACKPINK has released numerous chart-topping hits like “Lovesick Girls“, “Shut Down“, “As If It’s Your Last“, and “Playing with Fire.” Each member has since branched out with solo projects that highlight their individuality while continuing to build the group’s international legacy.
Currently, BLACKPINK is on their “DEADLINE” world tour, having completed a stadium leg across North America and Europe. The group recently kicked off their Asia tour starting in Taiwan and is also preparing for a highly anticipated comeback later this year.
As Jisoo joins her bandmates on the Billboard Hot 100, the era of BLACKPINK’s solo stardom continues to soar.
