julian quintart vegan wedding

On October 11, Julian held a private wedding ceremony with his Korean bride, five years his junior, at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seoul. The ceremony perfectly reflected his long-held philosophy of “eco-friendly and circular living,” with everything from the menu to the decorations and attire designed around a vegan concept.

In the photos shared from the event, the couple appeared radiant as they walked hand in hand. The bride captivated guests in a breathtaking white vegan wedding gown made entirely from PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) — a biodegradable fabric derived from corn and sugarcane. Unlike traditional synthetic fibers, this innovative material reduces carbon emissions by more than 50%, making it both elegant and environmentally responsible.

According to Sposabella, the atelier behind the gown, “This design is more than just a wedding dress — it’s a symbolic expression of nature’s cycle and sustainability. It proves that beauty and ethics can coexist.”

The wedding menu was also vegan fine dining, featuring gourmet plant-based dishes. Tables were adorned with pink muhly grass, herbs, and succulents, creating a serene and natural ambiance reminiscent of an outdoor garden scene.

After the ceremony, all floral arrangements were repurposed into “plant gifts” for guests, emphasizing the event’s message of zero waste and sustainable love.

The wedding’s multicultural charm was enhanced by the hosts — TV personalities Kim Sook and Daniel Lindemann led the first half of the ceremony, while Christina took over for the second half, creating a warm and inclusive “global wedding” atmosphere.

Julian, who rose to fame through JTBC’s Non-Summit, has since become one of Korea’s most recognizable advocates for environmental awareness. Reflecting on his wedding, he shared a heartfelt message: “This marriage marks not just a new chapter in my life, but the continuation of my philosophy — connecting love with sustainability.”
