Stray Kids’ Felix (Lee Yongbok) is pushing back strongly against defamatory rumors that he mistreated staff.
According to court records, Felix filed for discovery in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, requesting that X (formerly Twitter) reveal the identity of an anonymous user who spread malicious posts.

The defamatory claims, posted on March 8, March 15, and May 24, alleged that Felix “treats staff like servants” and “acts like a prince.” Felix argued that these false accusations caused him mental anguish, physical stress, and reputational harm.
Previously, Felix had filed a civil defamation case at Seoul Eastern District Court. However, the proceedings stalled because the defendant’s real identity could not be determined.
On September 5, 2025, the U.S. court granted Felix permission to subpoena X for the user’s personally identifiable information (PII). With this access, Felix can now pursue his lawsuit in Korea.

The news sparked a wave of supportive messages online, with fans rallying behind the idol:
- Fighting, Yongbok.
- Who would believe that Yongbokie would mistreat staff? FR, hope they KTS.
- It’s so unbelievable that Felix would mistreat staff LOL.
Most fans expressed disbelief at the allegations, emphasizing that Felix’s warm personality and reputation make such claims hard to accept.
With the U.S. court order in hand, Felix can formally identify the anonymous defamer and bring them to justice in Korean courts.
The outcome could set a precedent for other idols facing similar malicious rumors online, reinforcing the message that defamation—even from anonymous accounts—will not go unpunished.
