Actress Go Min Si has broken her silence amid ongoing school bullying allegations. On August 30, Go took to social media to express her stance, stating that she had waited for the investigation results while enduring emotional turmoil. She decided to go public to address the concerns of those waiting for her statement.
Go Min-si acknowledged having been a reckless teenager but firmly denied the bullying accusations. “Just because my past wasn’t perfect doesn’t mean I deserve to be falsely accused,” she said.
She emphasized, “I can say with certainty that I never committed school violence. There’s no clear evidence beyond anonymous online claims to prove otherwise.”
According to Go, she has already submitted all related materials to the authorities, and a full investigation is underway. “Even if it takes time, I won’t stop until the truth is revealed,” she declared, also condemning the misuse of school bullying claims to damage others.
The controversy began in May when an anonymous post titled “We Are Victims of Actor Go OO’s School Violence” surfaced on a Korean online forum. The post included detailed personal information strongly suggesting Go Min Si as the alleged perpetrator. The situation escalated when an acquaintance, known as “A,” was also implicated, leading to a wave of online backlash, including doxxing.
Go’s agency, Mystic Story, responded immediately: “The allegations are baseless and clearly false. We are taking strong legal action against those spreading malicious rumors.”
Go concluded her statement by warning about the dangers of online speculation: “Groundless rumors can destroy a person. The truth will come out.”
