On August 1, KBS2’s music talk show The Seasons: Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile shared a touching clip on its official social media, writing, “IU makes a surprise appearance in the final episode, leaving MC Bo-gum teary-eyed.”
In the video, IU left a video message saying, “I’m so sorry I couldn’t come again,” but then suddenly appeared in person, saying, “I felt so bad, I came myself.” Park Bo-gum looked stunned and visibly emotional. IU entered holding a bouquet, and as Bo-gum stood in surprise, his eyes welled up with tears. Kneeling on one knee, IU handed him the bouquet and gently patted his shoulder, saying, “You worked so hard.”
IU then turned to the audience and greeted them with a cheerful “Hello, I’m IU,” before playfully telling Park Bo-gum, “Don’t cry,” drawing laughter.
