Recently, photos of ALLDAY PROJECT‘s Youngseo from her time attending an international school were posted on an online community. The pictures show Youngseo in the uniform of Branksome Hall Asia, an international school located in Jeju Island. Even back then, her striking features and big, sparkling eyes stood out.

Branksome Hall Asia is situated in Jeju Global Education City and follows the Canadian curriculum. It opened in 2012 and is the only sister school of the prestigious Canadian institution Branksome Hall, which boasts a 120-year history.

Tuition at the school ranges from a minimum of 30 to 40 million KRW per year. Including dormitory fees, total annual costs exceed 60 million KRW. When factoring in activity fees and other expenses, it’s said to amount to approximately 100 million KRW (around $75,000) per year. As such, the school is known for being attended predominantly by children from Korea’s wealthiest and upper-class families.

Youngseo later attended Kyunggi Elementary School in Seodaemun District, Seoul — another elite private school. Notably, Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Shinsegae President Chung Yoo-kyung are among its alumni.

Meanwhile, Youngseo recently debuted in the five-member co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT, produced by The Black Label’s Teddy. The group is currently promoting their debut track “FAMOUS.”
